PJRCES offers validation/verification services for both voluntary and mandatory GHG emissions reporting and/or reduction projects. The basic process is shown below.

Validation

(NOTE: Validation occurs prior to project implementation)

Validation is the process of independent evaluation of a project activity by a Validation Body. The Validation Body evaluates whether the proposed project is in compliance with applicable GHG program guidelines and will meet the agreed upon validation criteria. This evaluation process is as follows:

Verification

(NOTE: Verification occurs after project implementation)

Verification is the independent periodic review and ex post determination by the Verification Body that the reported GHG emissions and/or reductions are accurate and have occured as a result of the registrered project activity during the specified verification period. The verification process is as follows:
